Gargiulo's Tinton Falls

We had heard about Gargiulo's for quite some time and finally were able to stop in for dinner after a recent shopping visit to the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. There are two restaurant locations, one in Tinton Falls, NJ, and one in Coney Island, NY.

When the bread came out, it was piping hot and we liked that there were two options offered. After finishing it too quickly, we had to opt for a second batch of bread while we were deciding what we wanted to try. We ended up ordering the ravioli and a special of fusilli filetto. Both were delicious. I opted for the fusilli filetto special since it had an uncommon twist to it. Along with the thin sauce, they included sliced prosciutto to it. It had a unique taste and it certainly stood out from typical plates someone might try in a restaurant. The ravioli were equally delicious. You could taste the freshness and care taken for the ingredients.

Another uncommon fun feature of the restaurant was that you would get to play "La Tombola" at the end. This game involves guessing a number between 1 and 90. If you guess the correct number that comes out of the shaker, your meal is free! The waitress told us that they also have the same game at the other location in Coney Island.

The restaurant was cute and classy. As for parking, there is valet parking right by the entrance, or you can park yourself at the community garden lot. On nice evenings, there is also outdoor dining. We hope to visit again on a warmer summer night to enjoy the food and the weather.
