This past Valentine's Day, we tried something new, a soap-making class! At Sensorium Emporium in Red Bank, NJ, we were able to take a class that was about 2 hours long and learned how to make soap.

We were walked through the process of mixing scents we liked, colors we liked, and using different molds. The wax was heated for us beforehand, and then we got to be as creative as we liked. It was fun mixing the scents and colors to our liking. Afterwards, we just had to wait for the wax to cool before peeling the soaps out of the molds. Meanwhile, we had fun talking with other people that had also joined in on the soap-making class.

Sensorium Emporium does a lot of soap-making classes. On some days, there is live music too. Aside from many soaps that you can buy, they also sell different teas.
