Buona Sera

This year for Valentine's Day, we decided to spend the day in Red Bank, NJ. We opted for brunch at Buona Sera, in hopes of avoiding large crowds, then headed over to Sensorium Emporium for a soap-making class, and ended the day with a heart-shaped pizza at Gianni's Pizzeria.

We have been to Buona Sera before, usually for dinner, and have always had a great time. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The highlight of this visit was definitely the crème brûlée. It is one of our favorite desserts so we order it pretty often, but we found this to be one of the best crème brûlées that we have had. It tasted just right and it had the perfect consistency. The raspberry and chocolate syrup with the extra whipped cream and chocolate caramel crunch cookie, were an added plus. Next time we go back for a meal, we definitely need to save some space for another crème brûlée.
